The Backend Developer (Laravel) is responsible for building and maintaining robust server-side applications, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate should have experience in modern PHP development, RESTful API design, and excellent knowledge of Laravel and Vue.js.
Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Laravel framework.
Design and implement RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications.
Collaborate with frontend developers (especially those working with Vue.js) to integrate user-facing elements.
Ensure data integrity and application security across platforms and environments.
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications as needed.
Work with DevOps to deploy applications and manage environments effectively.
Optimize performance and scalability for large datasets and high-traffic systems.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Stay up to date with the latest Laravel, PHP, and backend development trends.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience in Laravel development.
Strong understanding of MVC architecture and modern PHP standards.
Experience with Vue.js and integrating APIs into SPAs.
Familiarity with MySQL, Redis, and other backend technologies.
Good understanding of Git workflows, REST principles, and Agile methodologies.
